Delete Your VakeelSathi Account

1. Delete from the app

1. Open the VakeelSathi app and sign in.
2. Go to Account → Delete account.
3. Type DELETE to confirm and tap Delete my account.

Your account is deleted immediately. If you have upcoming bookings, the app will ask you to cancel them first.

2. Request deletion without the app

If you no longer have the app installed, email us from any address at support@vakeelsathi.in with the subject "Account deletion request" and include the phone number registered with your account.

We may contact you on that number to confirm the request is yours. We will complete the deletion within 30 days and email you once it is done.

Lawyers and lawyer applicants: lawyer accounts cannot be deleted from the app. Please use the email above; we will close your account and lawyer profile.

3. What is deleted

• Your profile (name, phone number, email address, city)
• Wallet and wallet transaction history
• Bookings, orders and service requests (including challan and callback requests)
• Messages and chat threads
• Call and video consultation logs
• Device and notification tokens

4. What is kept, and for how long

• Payment records: the amount, date and payment reference of wallet recharges made through our payment gateway are kept as required by Indian tax and accounting laws. After deletion these records are no longer linked to your account or identity.
• Wallet balance: any unused wallet balance is forfeited when the account is deleted and cannot be recovered. The app warns you before you confirm.
• Backups: deleted data may remain in encrypted database backups for a short period until those backups expire.
